History of Nautilus

Owned and professionally managed by the Bowen Family since its inception in 1981, Nautilus Beachfront Villa’s has continued to create and maintain the standards which have lead to numerous local, state and national tourism awards, market leading performance and most importantly, one of the highest levels of repeat business in the industry.

Nautilus Beachfront Villa’s & Spa is located on nine acres of tropically landscaped, absolute beach frontage, 7km north of Coffs Harbour on the beautiful north coast of New South Wales.

Transport

Driving

Coffs Harbour is located approximately 6 hours from Sydney and 4½ hours from Brisbane, on the Pacific Highway. Recent $2.2 Billion major upgrading of the Pacific Highway, with the inclusion of dual carriageways, has made the journey from Sydney much safer and shorter.

Air Travel

Coffs Harbour Airport has regular daily services to Sydney with Virgin Blue or QANTAS Link and to Brisbane with Brindabella airlines. The airport has been upgraded to take 767 aircraft and a new terminal to cater for the extra capacity.

Reminiscent of an island style beachfront resort, our 4 star 75 low-rise accommodation units are part of what make Nautilus Beachfront Villa’s & Spa that special place to have your wedding.

All rooms feature reverse cycle air conditioning, raked ceilings, overhead fans, northerly facing private courtyards and undercover parking near most units. Many units have recently been refurbished to a high standard reflecting modern technology & decor.

Unit types range from Hotel Style Rooms (Deluxe) to self-contained Studio Units, One Bedroom Suites, Two Bedroom Villa’s and Three Bedroom Apartments.

S-cape Café & Bar overlooks our main pool and beyond to the Solitary Island Marine Reserve and the Pacific Ocean.

In a departure from traditional hotel banquet style catering, S-cape is designed to encourage a relaxed café style environment. Our menus are created ensuring the highest level of innovation and flexibility to meet your special needs.
